The most convenient and secure way to receive any tuition overpayment refund is via QuikPAY direct deposit. Direct deposit means excess loan proceeds will be deposited directly into the U.S. bank account specified by the student. You will also receive your refunds in much less time than by waiting for a paper check to process.
QuikPAY uses the highest industry standard for encryption, so direct deposit is more secure than a check. Typically, a student receives funds via direct deposit a week faster than a paper check.
Sign up for direct deposit by completing the Direct Deposit form and returning it to Student Accounts. When you’re due a refund, the money will be directly deposited into your account in two to three business days. Be sure the refund is in your account prior to using the money.
If you change accounts or banks, remember to update your direct deposit information with the Student Accounts office.
