Please note - there is no need to resubmit a direct deposit form if you already have a direct deposit on file with the college. If you have changed bank accounts you will need to submit your new information as outlined below.
Properly documented information may be emailed to email@example.com. Documentation will ONLY be accepted from your official Buffalo State email address.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT TO RECEIVE HEERF II FUNDING, PLEASE RETURN DOCUMENTATION TO firstname.lastname@example.org
The most convenient and secure way to receive any tuition overpayment refund is via QuikPAY direct deposit. Direct deposit means excess loan proceeds will be deposited directly into the U.S. bank account specified by the student. You will also receive your refunds in much less time than by waiting for a paper check to process.
QuikPAY uses the highest industry standard for encryption, so direct deposit is more secure than a check. Typically, a student receives funds via direct deposit a week faster than a paper check.
Sign up for Direct Deposit by clicking the orange “Direct Deposit Refund Forms” tab below. On this tab you will be able to access the application and find out all required documents needed to enroll. If you have excess funds in your account (because your account has been paid in full) you may be eligible for a refund. When the funds become available the money will be directly deposited into your U.S bank account within 24-48 business hours. Please be sure to check your Banner Self Service and your personal bank account for an up to date status of your refund.
If you close or change accounts, remember to contact our office so that we can make the proper adjustments to ensure no interruption in the processing of your refund.
In addition to the form, we require documentation from your bank that shows your name and account number.
Voided check (your name must be printed on the check, starter checks that do not include your name are not acceptable).
Copy of your bank statement (typically your name and account number appear at the top of the statement, you can choose to print or send this portion only. We do not require your entire statement). If you use online banking, most banks have an option to view your statement online.
Letter from your bank, on bank letterhead.
* Handwritten information or information typed into fillable forms are not accepted documentation.
